NIDEK Co., Ltd., the industry leader in visioncare diagnostic products and solutions, announced the worldwide launch and release of the industry first Auto-Refractometer, Keratometer & Tonometer unit, the NIDEK TONOREF RKT-7700. The new unit brings together advanced and innovative technologies and solutions into one diagnostic platform and offers the first combination unit of its type in the visioncare industry.

The NIDEK TONOREF RKT-7700 is an advanced platform, combining the measurements of refractive power, corneal curvature and intraocular pressure (IOP). The new diagnostic platform is ideal for accurate and fast patient care in clinics and hospitals. The unique combination platform delivers space saving capabilities, fast and accurate measurement times, a fully automated data acquisition process and an extremely patient and user-friendly interface with advanced ergonomics.

NIDEK will release and launch the new TONOREF RKT-7700 at the European Society Of Cataract & Refractive Surgery Annual Meeting in Paris, France, September 18th – 22nd, 2004.
