NIDEK auto-refractometers measure visual acuity with the single press of a button. By incorporating a NIDEK Automatic Optometry System and auto-refractometer, from visual acuity measurement all the way to optimal lens selection can be performed simply by following the desired program. Innovative NIDEK products are all developed to fulfill customer needs, as well as to provide more efficient spacing, operability, and easy counseling.

Rapid Lens Processing
NIDEK has developed the Patternless Lens Edger that offers fully automatic operation of frame reading, lens edging, chamfering, and grooving. A highly accurate network compatible lab edger is also part of our product lineup.

There are various kinds of eye charts in use today: the Randolt Chart, which uses figures of the letter C, the Snellen Chart, which uses the letter E, number charts, alphabet charts, and charts with pictures for children.
