NIDEK launched Ophthalmic Surgical System CV-9000R
- October 1 , 2014, Gamagori, JAPAN -
NIDEK has launched a new phacoemulsifier system, CV-9000R. The CV-9000R offers enhanced cost-performance with its reusable irrigation and aspiration (I / A) tube while maintaining the high-performance vacuum ability.
The I / A tube can be autoclaved up to 10 times, which results in the cost-effective surgery. The CV-9000R has the great usability for both surgeons and operators. The phaco tips enable MICS (micro incision cataract surgery) at minimum 1.8 mm incision with higher vacuum pressure up to 650mmHg, which reduces the risk of surgical complication such as postoperative astigmatism and thermal burn. The handpiece is only 57 g and allows easy intraoperative handling and enhanced durability. The optional multi-functional foot pedal enhances the efficiency of the surgical sequence through the operation, allowing changes in mode, bottle height adjustment, and so forth. Easy and quick parameter adjustment is made possible with the 10.4-inch touch screen and the intuitive graphic user interface. Nine languages* are available for setup and surgery to allow the surgeon and staff to work in their native language. During setup, the navigation mode will guide the operator through the entire procedure.
*Chinese, English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish
