NIDEK launches the LEXCE Trend Patternless Edger

NIDEK CO., LTD., a global leader in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of ophthalmic, optometric, and lens edging equipment, is pleased to announce the launch of the LEXCE Trend Patternless Edger.

The LEXCE Trend is a feature-rich, all-in-one edger which incorporates a high performance drill, an intelligent blocker and a frame tracer in a compact body.

The exceptional drill unit integrated in the processing unit for the LEXCE Trend uses a 5-axis mechanism, providing a high degree of accuracy for all your drilling jobs. The processing unit also performs high quality safety beveling and grooving on any type of lens. The intelligent blocker with its integrated imager is simple to operate while offering great performance.
The imager can capture optical tracings, along with drill hole data. The original NIDEK designed 3-D frame tracer, now equipped with a full auto clamping mechanism, performs highly precise measurements even on high curve frames.

The LEXCE Trend also enhances user productivity. The user interface comes in two types designed for intuitive operation so that the user can easily select the one that offers the most comfortable operation. There are also multiple configurations that can be chosen from different model types depending on the situation of any optical shop and lab, either as a new integration or as an additional unit.
