Selectable working distance
The working distance can be pre-selected from 2.5 to 6 m in increments of 50 cm, accommodating any size examination room.
Polarized chart for binocular test (only for SC-1600 Pola)
The SC-1600 Pola adopts the state-of-the-art technology, special LCD to polarize charts, which provides binocular assessment in a conventional way with stylish design.
Night mode
The SC-1600 Pola / 1600 provides "Night mode" to examine night-time visual acuity under low light condition.
System integration
The SC-1600 Pola / 1600 can be synchronized and integrated with the NIDEK Smart Refractor for more refined and smoother examinations. When synchronized, chart images adjustments are possible using the Smart Refractor control box.
