Visual Prosthesis

Challenge for the Recovery of the Lost Vision

NIDEK established the first vision institute for Visual Prosthesis in Japan in 2001 to realize the dream since its foundation: "Invisible to Visible". Applying the long-cultivated Optoelectronics to advanced medical engineering, we promote R&D to restore vision for the visually impaired as early as possible.
