NIDEK launched the first South American affiliate in Brazil

NIDEK CO., LTD. announced that it has launched “NIDEK EYECARE DO BRASIL COMERCIO DE INSTRUMENTOS OPTICOS LTDA”, a new affiliate company in San Paulo, Brazil on September 1st, 2010. This office is the first local corporation of NIDEK in South America.

 

The developing countries are important business markets for our overseas strategy. Especially, we put emphasis on the market in Brazil as the part of BRICs countries that have been growing remarkably.

 

Motoki Ozawa, President and CEO, said: “We are delighted to launch this new affiliate in Brazil where is increasing its significance in the World. I strongly believe that this new affiliate will strengthen our activity and contribute to the eye care field in Brazil.”
