Detailed Information

Explanation about Au Nanorod Array Substrate for SERS

The Au nanorod arrays which NIDEK developed are produced by dynamic oblique evaporation to achieve the high reproducibility without using high-cost processes such as the etching or lithography.

The produced surface is prolate nanoparticle configuration with strong anisotropism, and by the plasma resonant effect on the Au prolate nanoparticle, raman scattering intensity of absorbed particles are enhanced.
