NIDEK received “Japanese Health Minister Award”by proactive cooperation for Blood Donation.

NIDEK CO., LTD. received “Japanese Health Minister Award” at “the 43rd National Convention of promoting blood donation”, held at Sun Dome Fukui, Fukui prefecture, Japan. This award was given because of the continuous contribution of NIDEK employees for blood donation.

 

It has been awarded at the “Aichi Prefectural Convention of promoting blood donation”, held at Naka Ward Office Hall in Nagoya on July 27, 2007.

 

On July 30, 2007, Mr. Motoki Ozawa, vice president of NIDEK CO., LTD., visited Gamagori City Hall and reported NIDEK’s long- term and active participation of 30 years to Mr. Hisao Kinbara, City Mayor of Gamagori. – Located in Gamagori, Nidek, received the award for the first time because of blood donation.

 

Having been registered locally at Toyohashi Red Cross Blood Center since 1977, NIDEK has established a system to have blood donation activities twice a year. – Consequently, many Nidek employees have a strong commitment and exhibit a positive attitude toward blood donations.
